yato POP UP 2025

A sales event for the knitwear brand "yato" will be held at amanai. From Saturday, December 20th to Monday, December 22nd, 2025, the event will feature cashmere sweaters, wool accessories, and other everyday wear to keep you warm during the cold season.

What is "yato"?

yato is a problem-solving brand created by knitwear designer Wataru Shibuya. Shibuya has been involved in the planning, production management, and development of knitwear for many years, and has a unique background, having worked at spinning factories and farms, experiencing the entire process from raw materials to finished products. With such intimate knowledge of the behind-the-scenes aspects of knitwear, Shibuya launched the knitwear brand "yato" in January 2023 after a long period of preparation.

The long-awaited wool pants are now available in a new red color

This year, we are offering knit pants made from wool from Uruguay. They are incredibly comfortable and warm, yet don't stretch out at the knees, making them the ideal wool pants. Every year, we have had customers try out samples and receive very positive feedback. Because the construction is more ambitious than regular knit pants, we struggled to get production up and running, and while many customers have been hoping for a comfortable fit next year, we have not been able to deliver them to them. This year, our wish has finally come true, and we are pleased to present these 100% wool pants to you.

In addition to the existing charcoal gray, brown, black, and white, the cashmere sweater will now be available in red. The red color was actually only available in certain models, but due to its popularity, it has been added to the lineup. We were unable to provide any photos, but we hope you will come to the store to see the beautiful red.
