The pop-up event for the knitwear brand "yato" will be held at amanai. From December 21st to 23rd 2024, it will be an event introducing everyday wear to keep you warm during the cold season, including cashmere sweaters and knitted accessories.

What is "yato"?

yato is a problem-solving brand founded by knit designer Wataru Shibuya. Shibuya has been involved in the planning, production management, and development of knitwear for many years, and has a unique career history in which he has worked in spinning factories and farms, experiencing the entire process from raw materials to the finished product. After a long period of preparation, Shibuya, who knows everything about knitwear behind the scenes, launched the knitwear brand "yato" in January 2023. Crew neck cardigan, black and white

This year, we are adding a new type of crew neck cardigan. Most crew neck cardigans have a certain amount of room around the neck, so they are easy to put on and take off, and are designed to be worn layered. In contrast, yato's cardigans are characterized by a tight neckline, giving them an elegant impression. This is a unique specification from yato, who are absolutely confident in the comfort of their knitwear and do not place any stress on the neck.

In addition to the existing charcoal gray and brown, new colors "black and white" will be unveiled. The addition of black and white, which are easy to use for work and ceremonial occasions, will increase the options and expand the range of outfits you can wear.

In addition, a new accessory item, a belly warmer, will also be available. Shibuya's desire to make people feel the sweater against their bare skin led to the creation of this everyday item that will warm you from the inside out.

At the sales event, Shibuya-san will be at the storefront to explain about knitwear. Last year, it was impressive to see customers enjoying shopping while listening to Shibuya-san's wide range of stories, from knitting techniques to how to wear them and events from life on a wool farm.
