＜ke-shiki＞ POP UP
From January 3rd to 12th 2026, a pop-up by ke-shiki, a Niigata-based manufacturer of wooden furniture and everyday items, will be held at amanai.
Sakatsume, who makes furniture and daily necessities in Niigata Tetsuya's woodworking workshop "ke-shiki". It all started with the renovation of an old house with a rural landscape right in front of you. He has created a unique space that combines a showroom, workshop, and beauty salon, where he produces everything from small everyday items to large pieces of furniture all by himself.
We were connected with ke-shiki through a strange connection, and our relationship has now grown to the point where they are now producing the potpourri case that have become a familiar sight at amanai.
At this pop-up, we will be offering a wider selection of ke-shiki's standard and new products, including tableware such as katakuchi and ochoko (sake cups), trays, clocks, and made-to-order stools. Sakatsume's visit is scheduled for the latter half of the event. We will announce it on Instagram once it is confirmed.
This pop-up event will start on January 3rd, the first day of the new year. We hope you will stop by after your first visit to the shrine. We look forward to seeing you there.
