Walking Cane Experience Event

May 25(sat), 26(sun), June 1(sat) and 2(sun) 2024, amanai will hold an event for walking cane experience.

What's Vilhelm Hertz?

Vilhelm Hertz is a cane brand born in a small workshop in Denmark. It is a beautiful walking cane created by two craftsmen. Production in Japan has began, and amanai held an order event in September 2023.

The theme of this experience event was "A stitch in time saves nine / (in Japanese) A cane is better than a fall " We hope that as many people as possible will be able to experience the cane.

Have you ever thought, "What if I were to need a cane?" We are sure most people have never imagined it yet.

There are many reasons why walking becomes difficult, including injury, debilitation, paralysis, and disabilities, and age is no factor. It may seem like a daunting task to choose an aesthetically pleasing welfare device that is suitable for the degree of difficulty from the many available canes.

We hope that you will be able to make use the experience at our event as a guideline for choosing a cane in the future. Mr. Miyata, the representative of Vilhelm Hertz Japan, will be in the store, so please feel free to consult with us about not only future concerns about walking, but also current concerns.

Those who participate in the experience will receive a free Danish baked cake, "Citronmåne" by Shichika. We hope that you will be able to experience at least a little of the Danish atmosphere and the charm of the cane.  We will also be selling Shichika's baked cakes on the days. We are also planning to serve coffee, so please look forward to it.

During the event, you will be able to see all types of Vilhelm Hertz canes and Mr. Miyata is in the store. He will be accepting orders for canes, so please feel free to come by when you are considering purchasing one.
