A clothes brush for knitwear with a thick layer of horse tail hair. The bristles are both soft and strong, and will thoroughly wipe away dust.

Owakige is the hair that grows at the base of a horse's tail. It is a rare material that has the contradictory characteristics of being soft to the touch and strong to the waist. Mr. Kazuo Ishikawa, the craftsman and founder, focused on this Owaki hair, and has been involved in every step from selecting the material to designing and manufacturing the product so that it can be used as a brush.

The material of the grip is Yaku cedar and has a reddish brown color. It is characterized by its finely wavy, layered wood grain. The oval shape allows you to hold the brush as if you were holding it directly, and is designed to prevent force from escaping. The bristles are hand-planted into over 200 holes to create a surface that allows for powerful brushing without damaging the fabric.

The brush not only removes fine dust, but also prepares the surface of the fabric and deepens its luster while maintaining its original texture. Frequent brushing keeps your precious clothes in good condition, and you can take care of them at home without having to take them to the cleaners. You can use it for a long time as an everyday tool to create a rich look.

This product is for knitwear. It is compatible with delicate fabrics such as wool and cashmere as well as silk. Ideal as a care tool for important clothes and Japanese clothes. If you want to use it for more general purposes, we recommend using the bruch  for coats .
