These glass nibs were created with the desire to make glass pens more accessible. They are carefully crafted by artisans using durable borosilicate glass.
The nib offers the firm, reliable writing feel unique to hard glass. It produces lines that are just right—neither too thick nor too thin. Thanks to the precisely crafted grooves, it has excellent ink retention, allowing you to write about a full sentence with a single dip.
We developed this product in collaboration with TATSU GLASS, a scientific glass laboratory, as these items are difficult to mass-produce. The rust-resistant stainless steel parts are also precision-engineered, making this a piece that truly embodies Japanese craftsmanship.
While the dip pen is a traditional tool, it may actually be the writing instrument that best fits our modern times. It is a light and effortless writing tool that you will want to keep using for the next ten years and beyond.

・If ink dries in the grooves of the nib, it may become difficult to remove and may impede ink flow, so please rinse it frequently with water during use.
・If ink flow is poor or dried ink is difficult to remove, please gently scrub it with a soft toothbrush while rinsing with water.
・If using detergent, please use a neutral detergent.
・To prevent moisture from remaining for a long period after use, remove the nib from the holder and ensure it is thoroughly dry before storing.
