A butter case made by carefully hollowing out wild cherry trees. The beautiful wood grain and warm texture make it a gem that fits comfortably in your hand.
By using the board part as the bottom, you can use it instead of a cutting board.
Solid wild cherry wood has moderate hardness and stickiness, and is said to be a material that does not easily warp. Finishing with walnut oil has the effect of preventing the wood from drying out, and the luster increases with use. It also has a natural humidity control effect, so it gently prevents butter from drying out and oxidizing in the refrigerator.
Quarters are just the right size by cutting commercially available 450g butter into quarters. As shown in the image, half of the 200g size will fit. Designed by Osamu Saruyama, It is a butter case that sticks to the details that Yosozawa Wood Craft is in charge of manufacturing.
