Oshiki with beautiful wood grain using Japanese oak. The natural texture that makes use of solid wood and the tasteful wood texture that changes as you use it are attractive.

Oshiki is, so to speak, a dining table. It is said that the etymology of "folding and laying" is said to be the origin of the time when leaves were used instead of tableware. Based on the context of tools that have been used in Shinto rituals and tea ceremonies, they are meticulously designed to be easy to use even in modern daily life.

The reason why the vertical and horizontal lengths are slightly different, rather than square, is that even if you use it casually, the front will be determined. The back side is slanted, called "tatami-zuri", to make it easier to lift.

Quarters are one-fourth the size of full-size. It can be used for a variety of purposes, such as serving peanuts and Japanese sweets as a plate, or as a board for bread.

The walnut oil finish has some water repellent and antifouling effects, but it may stain if left wet. After use, wipe with a tightly wrung cloth before storing.
