Coffee canisters assembled using woodworking techniques. The moisture-regulating properties of wood make it ideal for storing coffee beans on a daily basis.

By cutting the lid and the body from the same piece of wood, the wood's expansion and contraction rate is stable, keeping the interior airtight at a constant level. The corners are joined using a woodworking fastening technique called "kanzashi," and the curved surfaces make it easy to hold in your hand.

The outside is finished with vegetable oil. The inside is left unpainted so as not to affect the contents inside. When you store coffee beans in it, the coffee oil from the beans permeates the wood, gradually filling it with the aroma of coffee. By leaving it unpainted, it can be used in a variety of ways, such as putting tea leaves or sugar cubes in it.

There are two sizes, large and small. The contents are based on 200g and 100g of coffee beans. Kanzashi come in two colors: dark brown (ebony) and the same color (ash). The same color Kanzashi is a special edition by amanai.
