This shapely carafe boasts a lustrous, curved form. Meaning "pitcher" in French, it can hold not only water but also various other beverages such as wine or juice.
It is manufactured by Koizumi Glass Manufacturing. Since its founding, this rare domestic glass manufacturer has been melting borosilicate glass (heat-resistant glass) in-house and producing handmade products. Each carafe, individually blown with their precise craftsmanship, possesses subtle individuality despite being a product, as if imbued with a soul.
"The interplay of light and shadow cast by the carafe, the nascent greenery swaying in the water — the space they weave together is truly the beauty of 'Awai' (a space between two things)."
